Bryan Lasky is a Boston, Massachusetts based photographer specializing in live music and portraits. He also does a number of events during the year as well as weddings. He is available to hire for tours, festivals, promotional photos, and any other photography needs.
He has been part of the Boston Calling House Photography Team since 2018. He has been the lead photographer of Wild Adriatic’s The Summit since 2017. He was the lead photographer at Huichica Hudson in 2018. He has worked with the City of Albany since 2016 to document the annual Tulip Festival and Alive at 5 Concert Series. His work has been used by Republic Records and Royal Potato Family. He currently works for Bowery Boston, City Winery Boston, and Lucky Strike Social Albany as well as Jambase, Pancakes and Whiskey, We All Want Someone, Vanyaland, and DMNDR. His work has also been in Billboard, Relix, Live for Live Music, Nippertown, The Spot 518, The Chronicle, Northshore Magazine, NYSMusic, The Alt, and Upstate Live.
He has covered many bands, both big and small, including Bruce Springsteen, Phish, U2, The Weeknd, Tool, Iggy Pop, My Morning Jacket, LCD Soundsystem, The Record Company, Metallica, St. Vincent, Courtney Barnett, John Prine, Patti Smith, Lucius, Gorillaz, Nas, The Roots, The Who, A Tribe Called Quest , Cage the Elephant and many others. He has gone on tour with Wild Adriatic multiple times, and has worked closely with Marco Benevento, Mondo Cozmo, Candy Ambulance, and Let's Be Leonard . He has done behind the scenes production photos with Chromoscope Pictures on their music videos. He has covered Bonnaroo, Pitchfork Music Festival, Outside Lands, Newport Folk Festival, Solid Sound Festival, The Roots Picnic, The Governors Ball, Lockn' and Grand Point North.
His work was displayed in Glens Falls at the Crandall Public Library as part of the exhibit "A Transitional Interpretation: American Roots Music by Five Photographers." In October of 2016 he was approached by SongwritingWith:Soldiers to document one of their retreats in Upstate, NY.
